chinatown rooftops

Between cultures of east and west, between the younger generation and the elders, between family members, between areas within yourself, between the stranger waiting in line next to you there are gaps everywhere that can be bridged. At times these gaps can feel massive but bringing awareness to them and taking the step to extend a hand can be one of most strengthening and gratifying experiences. To bridge gaps is to accept the shadows within yourself and to tap the courage that is found beside it. To bridge gaps is to step out side yourself, your comfort zone and dive into a state of compassion. To bridge gaps is to make new friends and solidify old ones. To bridge gaps is what simba did when he returned to pride rock.
